I truly experienced joy while learning at Hadar. It was amazing to be given the time and space to learn Talmud with great teachers and colleagues and to think deeply about pedagogy with passionate academics and practitioners. I think my students experience joy – the class has been lively and focused which I think equals joy in a classroom setting. – Laurie Hahn Tapper School Rabbi and Director of Jewish Studies at Yavneh Day School
It was joyful to learn with other passionate educators about how to better teach our future generations about our traditions. My students are truly enjoying the experience of havruta, expressing sorrow when a lesson ends, and enthusiastically looking forward to each following havruta session. – Ayelet Lipton, teacher at JCDS Boston
